Appointments System
Patients are normally seen by appointment at morning and afternoon surgeries each weekday. These can be made by telephoning the clinic between 8.00am and before 6.30pm.
You can also request a same day telephone consultation by logging into My Health Online where telephone consultations are offered from 8am - 4pm, these appointments are staggered throughout the day.

On The Day Appointments
If you need an on the day appointment please call the surgey at 8am or request an on the day telephone consultation by logging in to My Health Online. However these appointments are NOT for sick notes or medication
Telephone Consultations
We also offer telephone consultations where you can book in advance to speak to the doctor of your choice.
Extended Practice Opening Hours
Please note the practice operates an extended hours scheme which allows patients to pre-book appointments from 7:30am - 8:00am and from 6:30pm - 7:30pm on a Tuesday but these are ONLY pre-bookable and not available on the day. The phone lines are open from 8:00 am every day.
Home Visits
Home Visits are only for housebound patients. If you need a home visit you must telephone before 12:00 pm.
The advanced clinical practitioner may contact you by telephone before visiting to establish the level of need.
The surgery has easy access and facilities for disabled patients.
Hospital Transport
The practice no longer makes booking for patients attending hospital appointments.
Patients can now phone direct to the transport booking office to book transport to attend hospital appointments the telephone number is 0800 3282332.
Cancellations & Reminders
Cancel an Appointment
It is important that you inform the reception staff if you are unable to attend your appointment, this will allow that appointment to be offered to another patient. If you fail to notify the Practice that you are unable to attend, you will be sent a letter informing you that you have defaulted from your appointment. Persistent defaulters maybe removed from the list.
You can also cancel GP appointments via My Health Online. You can also text to cancel your appointment via our text reminder service.
Late For Your Appointment
Please attend your appointment on time, if you are late you may not be seen. If you are not seen you will not be able to rearrange your appointment until the next working day-except in the event of an medical emergency that requires immediate attention.
Text Reminder Service
We have a texting service which allows you to receive confirmation and reminders about your appointments.
To have this service you will need to register by completing a consent form.
